Abstract
A retrospective analysis of AMP consumption was carried out for the period from 2011 to 2021 in the departments of the multidisciplinary hospital of the Regional Clinical Hospital of the Republic of Tajikistan. According to the results of the DDD analysis, the total consumption of systemic AMP in the hospital until 2019 had a clear upward trend. Over the analyzed period of time, the total consumption of AMP increased by 4.7 times (total DDD in 2011 - 4650.76, in 2019 - 23621.4).The increase in the consumption of AMP occurred mainly due to drugs from the group of cephalosporins and macrolides, the share of which, in the structure of consumed AMP, increased significantly. The share of AMP of the penicillin series and fluoroquinolones in the total structure of AMP used has significantly decreased, which indicates a loss of interest in drugs of these classes. Interest in AMPs from the aminoglycoside group remains fairly stable. The exception is 2020-2021, when the efforts of hospital doctors were focused on the treatment of coronavirus infection COVID-19. During this period, the consumption of AMP was significantly lower, incl. due to a decrease in the number of beds, as well as a change in the spectrum of used antimicrobials.
